- 2010 Aviation Career Academies Summer Program-
ACE Academy. Ace Academy introduces young people into the world of aviation. Students are taken up and given the opportunity to control the airplane on their very first introductory flight. The pilots of tomorrow are created when given the possiblities created by involvement in aviation. These camps are provided by The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals each summer. - Aviation Scholorships available-
The Kitty Hawk Chapter of the Ninety-Nines is offering two $1,000 scholarship awards and a one year membership to The Ninety-Nines to qualifying applicants. The purpose of the flight training awards is to encourage women pilots, promote aviation within the surrounding community and provide networking opportunities for women. The scholarship is awarded to assist women who are working to become licensed pilots or are seeking additional ratings or certificates. Application deadline is October 1, 2010.
